Sherman High School was built to support the rapidly growing student\u00a0population in the north Dallas suburb of Sherman, Texas. The three story,\u00a0<\/span>536,000-square-foot building includes a music wing with band, orchestra,\u00a0<\/span>and choir rooms, sheet music library<\/a>, instrument storage room, 12 SoundLok\u00ae practice rooms<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>and an 800 seat auditorium.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Band director Ryan Jenkins was passionate about bringing Wenger products\u00a0<\/span>into the new space. After visiting other schools, and researching what equipment\u00a0<\/span>was needed, Jenkins went to his administration with his wish list.<\/span><\/p>

\u201cWe really did try\u00a0<\/span>to be reasonable,\u201d Jenkins explains. \u201cWe wanted the administration to know that\u00a0<\/span>we were serious about our research so they wouldn\u2019t second guess us. We found\u00a0<\/span>that to be very important later in the process.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

\u201cRyan felt really good about working with Wenger,\u201d says Chris Fleming, Senior\u00a0<\/span>Regional Sales Manager. The design team, led by VLK Architects featuring Acoustics\u00a0<\/span>and Theatre Consulting by WJHW worked with Jenkins and Fleming to align the needs\u00a0<\/span>of the programs with the project budget.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
