About the Texas Coaches Association

The THSCA Convention & Coaching School is THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE ATHLETICS CONFERENCE in the state of Texas. This three-day annual conference offers a wide range of education sessions on both boys and girls sports, athletic administration, as well as health and safety topics, multiple networking opportunities, rules meetings, an on-site job room, an awards banquet, and an astounding array of exhibits. On average the THSCA Convention draws an attendance of over 13,000 coaches, athletic administrators and exhibitors.

About Texas Bandmasters

Since 1948 TBA has served the needs of band directors across Texas. We continue this mission in July by providing you with the most up-to-date information and teaching strategies from across the state and the nation to help guide you and help your students succeed in this new environment.

The 2020 Virtual Convention will include over 40 clinics for high school, middle school and beginner teaching; nationally known guest artists and composers; the latest information from our state associations; and even live performances for some much-needed inspiration. In this virtual format we are still able to offer the Student Leadership Day (Saturday, July 18), Academy for New Directors (Sunday, July 19) and Booster Club Training (Saturday, July 25).

As always you can earn professional development credit for attending the convention. Plus, you can watch all the sessions you missed at a later date and earn credit for those as well.

About About AMIS Music Educators' Online Summit

The Association for Music in International Schools (AMIS) is dedicated to the promotion of excellence at all levels of music education in international schools. The mission of AMIS is to:

  • Advance the education of students and teachers throughout the world by developing their understanding, knowledge and appreciation of music
  • Promote high standards of musical performance by all international school students
  • Advance the education of students and their teachers in global issues and cultural diversity through the performance and study of music
  • Promote furtherance of educationally valuable music repertoire
AMIS aims to do this by:

About The Midwest Clinic

What began in 1946 with 120 music directors meeting for six hours in a Chicago YWCA gym, has now become the annual four-day music band and orchestra conference known as The Midwest Clinic International Band, Orchestra and Music Conference. For 73 years, musicians, educators and people passionate about music education of all skill levels have gathered in Chicago for the largest music conference of its kind.

The Midwest Clinic International Band, Orchestra and Music Conference offers guests interested in music education an array of clinics and exhibits, as well as access to music and teaching icons. About Florida Music Education Association

The FMEA Professional Development Conference is one of the largest music education professional development events in the United States. In addition to approximately 250 clinic sessions and concerts, it is host to 22 All-State Ensembles featuring Florida's top Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Guitar, and Elementary Orff students conducted by world-class conductors and teachers. It is attended by more than 10,000 people, including secondary music directors, elementary music teachers, music supervisors, college students, college music teachers, school administrators, K-12 students performing in the All-State ensembles, students and professional musicians performing with invited performing ensembles, exhibitors, and parents of performing students.
